AFRICA REGION EXECUTIVE MEMBERS

MELINDA DWIGHT

She was the first woman elected to an Australian AOG state executive where she has served for the last 11 years. Melinda is passionate about making Jesus’ last command her First Priority. She was elected to sit on the Australian Christian Churches World Missions Executive and is the Regional Director for the Africa region where she is providing strategic visionary leadership for future mission endeavour by Australian churches. The latter is the expression of a Holy Spirit prompting when aged 13 about being involved in Africa. Melinda is an apostolic voice from Australia to the nations, overseeing works in five countries and encouraging many others. Her greatest passion sees her travel regularly to Nigeria with the ultimate purpose of raising church planters who will reach the peoples of West Africa with the gospel. Melinda previously served as the Senior Pastor of the Imagine network of churches, birthed out of the Burwood congregatation which she has led since 1995.

PAUL BARTLETT

Paul and Annette Bartlett are Senior Ministers of Lighthouse Church Wollongong, which currently has over 1,000 members. and Shellharbour Lighthouse Church, Both Paul and Annette have been active in leadership for over 20 years. Paul is a member of the ACC State Executive Board and is the current District Leader for the NSW South Coast, overseeing some 14 churches. Other roles Paul is involved in include being the President of Cedars Christian College, a school of over 500 students as well as the Chaplain to our National Basket Ball team the Wollongong Hawks. Lighthouse Church moves in the power of God, and demonstrates the love of God through practical means in their community. Paul and Annette have been married for 20 years and have three children

DAVID DOERY

As Senior Pastor of Bridge Church, Richmond,David and his wife Sally lead a powerful and contemporary church committed to bringing personal and community transformation through the gospel message. Brudge Church has had a long and flourishing history with African Mission, a commitment to the people of Africa has seen countless lives and communities changed, impacting her generations to come. With a focus on key fields Kenya, Mozambique and Uganda, Bridge Church has partnered with local workers and established missionary organizations to create sustainable projects, including orphanages, Bible Colleges, printing press and over 100 church plants. Through the training and release of hundreds of local leaders to enrich their nation with the gospel, recent ventures have attracted national leadership, who acknowledge the great benefit of the church within their country.

GREG MURRAY

Greg Murray is an Executive Pastor at Yarra Plenty Christian Centre (YPCC) in Melbourne. He is married to Sue and they have three children: twin daughters, Melissa and Emily (19), and a son Jesse (13). Greg and Sue spent their first seven years in ministry working at Teen Challenge, both in St Kilda and later setting up the rehabilitation program in Kyabram. The next seven at Youth For Christ Melbourne where Greg became Executive Director and then moved to their national office. They have been at YPCC for over six years and he oversees the mission program. They regularly travel to Africa where they have been doing mission work from the past eleven years, particularly in Kenya ministering in the slums.

DANIEL SANDERS

Daniel is passionate about people living a life of abundance and believes that this can only occur through a vibrant relationship with Jesus. His life is dedicated to reaching people around the world with the gospel and equipping others to achieve their potential in God. Previously Daniel and his wife Fiona were state directors of Students for Christ in Victoria, a university ministry where they led over 400 students on 15 campuses around the state.

STEVE WYNDHAM

Steve Wyndham is Senior Pastor of Yarra Plenty Christian Centre, a thriving church in the Melbourne suburbs. Some of their activities include an active involvement in the local Somali refugee community and the founding of the East School of Mission in conjunction with Harvest Bible College. Steve is also Australian Director of Next Level International (a mission organisation that focuses upon church planting, leadership training and short term missions in Europe, especially Central and Eastern Europe) and a long standing member of the National Board of Wycliffe Bible Translators Australia. Steve is married to Maylin and has two children Joelle and Josiah.

PHIL CAMDEN

Phil Camden has been in ministry for over 20 years and is the senior pastor of Church180. Phil is an excellent communicator with an ability to connect and inspire. He was until recently the Executive Pastor of Christian Life Centre Auckland, a church of over 6000 people, operating out of four campuses. Phil has also pioneered a church in Melbourne with the Assemblies of God and pastored a church in Queensland for five years, during which time he served as the superintendent of the Assemblies of God on the Sunshine Coast.
